Get Help with Funding for Your Child in Foster Care

HOW TO OBTAIN FUNDING
The Following is the Procedure to Request Funding.*

We Work Directly with DCYF Children's Administration
Contact your Social Worker at DCYF Children's Administration and let them know of your fostered child's needs/requests.

Request is Submitted to BTG
Your DCYF Social Worker submits a written request with your child's needs for approval and payment.

BTG Submits Payment
BTG reviews each request and, if approved, writes a check directly to the source of the activity, such as the school for an ASB card or yearbook, the tutoring agency, the therapeutic horse camp, etc.
*Please note that not all requests are accepted. Not all requests receive the full amount of what is requested. All requests must come through the state Social Worker.
